Lots of folks probably go straight to the gun toting, world is going to end, SHTF visions when they hear the word prepper. I'm a firm believer in a spectrum. You can choose to be wherever you want to be on that spectrum. You can be an "I don't care about anything, I'm not going to be ready for anything, someone will help me" kinda person. OOOOR you could be an "I'm ready for the full SHTF scenario complete with economic implosion, loss of all utilities, and oh by the way, my bunker can sustain a hundred people for 50 years", type of person. I think of it more as an organized way of thinking through risks and scenarios leading to outcomes that allow me to live the way I want to live. We support any place on the spectrum you want to be! We all get to make our choice.
